In an interview in Inside Housing Lib Dem Leader Nick Clegg raised the idea that housing providers should allow tenants of sheltered housing schemes to vote before any plan to remove their resident warden is introduced. “I rather like the idea Help the Aged have come up with putting changes to warden services to a vote of affected residents….That’s the kind of good practice I hope more housing associations and councils will use.”
