An article published on the Telegraph's website reports the legal battle that has resulted from Portsmouth City Council's decision to replace their overnight on- site wardens with a “mobile” team of two people patrolling the schemes. A High Court judge ordered Portsmouth City Council to restore its 24 hour on-site staffing for hundreds of residents of sheltered housing schemes after a court case last month. The council is planning to appeal the judgement.
